About Wow Skin Science
Founded by four friends – Arvind Sokke, Ashwin Sokke, Manish Chowdhary, and Karan Chowdhary, Wow is a skincare and lifestyle brand of the company Fit&Glow. Wow started small, with lots of challenges along the way and today, it is one of the most touted brands in the beauty industry with a strong presence especially across e-commerce platforms. It is currently owned by Fit & Glow.
The last decade has witnessed a growing consciousness of people towards organic and natural skincare and hair products. However, in India, during the time Wow Skin Science was launched, there was little to no brand that delivered such products. Foraying in this untapped market, the brand underwent tremendous growth. Today, it has over 100 product variants with unique formulations.
When it comes to affordability, Wow is undoubtedly one of the top brands. While there are many products with top-notch quality in the Indian beauty and wellness market, the problem lies in their exorbitant prices that make them too far-fetched for common people. This is the gap that Wow has been trying to fill. Moreover, none of its products contain paraben, sulfates, color, mineral oil, and other harmful chemicals. Wow’s apple cider vinegar shampoo is the best-selling drug not only in India but also in the US. The product has 3.8 ratings on Nykaa and 3.6 ratings on amazon.com. Co-founder Manish Chowdhary mentioned that their Onion Black Seed Oil is also the number one selling hair oil in all the online marketplace.
Apart from the quality of the products, their innovative packaging is also worth noting. For instance, its range of foaming face wash comes with a built-in brush, making them easy to apply. “I have a combination skin especially with oily skin on my forehead and after using this face wash my face glows and looks very fresh and the brush was a cherry on the top,” reviewed Anurupa Saha, a verified buyer, on Wow Skin Science Aloe Vera Foaming Face Wash with built-in brush.
While there are customers who have been saying that the products are not worth it, looking at the overall ratings and customers reviews, Wow Skin Science is a brand that you can opt for if you are looking for something affordable with quality uncompromised.
