Incorporating its Fresh Forward design, Subway India announces the reopening of its award-winning restaurant in Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru. The revamped restaurant was reopened in the presence of Subway franchise owner and officials from Bangalore International Airport.

Over the years, the branch has gotten an overwhelming response from the public and has in fact won numerous awards. Now donning a new decor is expected to further enhance the dining experience of food connoisseurs and travelers transiting through the airport. In addition to changing the overall decor and appearance of the restaurants, Subway India has also installed digital menu boards, USB charging ports, and Wi-fi to woo its customers. From its packaging to the display of the ingredients, the brand has recreated everything.

Not only this, earlier in June, taking its efforts up a notch in the wake of the pandemic, it also tweaked its logo and rolled out a safety campaign. The quick-service restaurant brand integrated a face mask in its logo accompanied by a ‘stay safe’ message. The innovative #SubwayIsSafe campaign run across its social media handles was intended to reiterate the fact that all the Subway restaurants across the country have been strictly following the health and food safety protocols.

The revamping of its iconic restaurant at Bengaluru International Airport is yet another commendable initiative by Subway India amid the coronavirus pandemic. Speaking on the occasion of its reopening, Griffith David, owner of the Subway franchise at BIAL, said, “The fact that we have won various coveted awards over the years, including the recognition for the highest unit sales worldwide, is a testimony of our commitment towards consistently offering a great dining experience to our guests at BLR Airport.”
