O’2 Nails India – Nail care for the stylish woman

Published

on

O2 Nails India is one of the fastest-growing nail care brands that aims to promote digital nail art in India. The founders, Aparna and Vikram Singh realized the need and supply imbalance in the nail service market. Realizing the need to fill this gap, the duo launched their retail fashion brand into the nail care domain. They rolled out India’s first Digital Nail Art Boutique at DLF Mall of India in Noida on May 11, 2018.

This boutique store is a way for people to meet their beauty desires by bridging the gap between traditional nail art and modern nail art for millennials and generation Z with pocket-friendly prices. O’2 Nail India leveraged digital technology and introduced the concept of AR/AI into their loT-based design offerings in a QSK (Quick Service Kiosk) format.

The company offers an easily accessible virtual database for searching or creating your own choice of designs with just a single tap on the phone. The selection can then be automatically featured on people’s nails of any size or shape with any color, in just 30 seconds. This advancement in technology and creativity has driven the company towards a booming growth story of 200 percent retail footprints and 10 times increased customer base.

Currently, the brand operates its QSK format boutiques in eight cities across India, including Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru, with tailor-made designs based on current market trends and choices. The company has served more than 2,000 clients with sizable profitability and numbers are only increasing.

O’2 Nail India has allowed people to think differently when it’s about nails. The gel solutions used for nail enhancements and nail coloring are chemical-free, retaining the concept of healthy and beauteous nail care. Such minute care by the nail experts’ rewards people with ‘the gift of real beauty.

The company recently collaborated with actress Ishita Raj Sharma as its brand ambassador and raised an undisclosed amount in the pre-seed round of funding.             This round saw a participation from angel investor, including Nitin Gupta (Founder and CEO of Etherea Coworking), Amit Singal (CEO of StartupBuddy and Fluid Ventures) and Manish Aggarwal (Partner of Fluid Ventures).

When asked about future prospects, Aparna Singh said, “This seed investment will help us enhance the standards in our services. We will use these funds for technological advancement along with retail growth by increasing our stores to fifteen till March 2022. With the help of the proper technology and a rapid service style boutique, this company is hitting the target audience at the right time.”
