How this organic brand markedly grew in 4 years with exports worth Rs. 250 Cr

Naturevibe Botanicals, founded in 2017, commenced its journey of operations from the US and Europe before entering the Indian market in 2019. The company was not one to be daunted by the pandemic, instead, it saw the precarious situation as an opportunity to enter the D2C market catering to increased demand for organic/health foods.

Inspired by the remarkable transformation, both mentally and physically, from adopting clean eating, Rishabh Chokhani (32) launched his own brand of organic/health foods- Naturevibe Botanicals in 2017.

Rishabh perceived a fine opportunity at the time when the organic products market was still upscaling, but the craze was set in the US. As a matter of fact, most of the ingredients used in these organic products are rooted in India, even then the foreign markets had very few suppliers from the South Asian giant.

Naturevibe Botanical turns out to be a company, exporting Indian botanicals worth Rs 250 crore, and with a global customer retention rate of 40 percent, it clocked Rs 140 Cr in FY 20-21.

It is a clean labeled brand, supplying all-natural products free from genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and chemicals. Naturevibe Botanicals is a proponent of a chemical-free lifestyle, and its products are manufactured after thorough research by amalgamating botanicals and the principles of Ayurveda.

Goodness of Ayurveda

With a product range of over 650, the brand is offering its diversified catalog of superfoods, Ayurvedic supplements, groceries, organic food, massage oils, essential oils, staples, etc.

The company which started off with a team of five is employing 400 people as of now and is networking with about 1200 contracted farmers and 45 seasonal farmers to procure clean and pure raw materials.

At the time when many businesses came to a halt due to the Covid-19 induced lockdown, and many pin codes on eCommerce were unserviceable, Rishabh saw this through by setting up his own D2c route in July 2020, delivering products to his customers directly.

When most of the businesses were laying off their employees, Naturevibe Botanicals was looking out to hire more people as their operations did not cease. The company was also awarded the ‘Job creator of the Year’ title at the Amazon Summit 2021.

Naturevibe Botanicals plans to establish its brand reach to many parts of the world including Germany, Singapore, France, and Australia and currently the brand has many new product launches in the pipeline.
